George R.R. Martin, author of Game of Thrones said "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one."

In Reading Ignited, we plan to live many lives over the course of the year, learning about different cultures and time periods, as well as how to connect and relate to these seemingly distant ideas. Mrs. Jolley and I will be working with 8th and 9th graders in this brand-new class to light the fire of learning in our students and we can't wait!
