I hope you guys have a great summer!
However.....
I cannot express the importance of keeping your reading muscles built up and strong. There are a few ways to do that on my website:
Just twenty minutes a day (you can even take the weekends off) will help make the transition back to school much more peaceful. And just think-that leaves you 23 hours and 40 minutes to play video games, text, swim, fish, sleep, binge Netflix, or whatever else you want to do! I can't wait to see you guys in the fall, but keep up the reading as we enjoy these long free days!
Also, be sure to sign up for the Rising 8th grade REMIND class to get updates on blog posts, back to school info, and 8th grade orientation! The code is: @rising8pm

I cannot express the importance of keeping your reading muscles built up and strong. There are a few ways to do that on my website:
- Each Sunday an article or short story will post here. I encourage you to read it and fill out the Google Form as a way to keep up your skills. Plus, when you get back in the fall, you'll already have some assignments completed and put in the gradebook!
- Continue reading novels or non-fiction. Keep track of the pages you read and fill in the Google Form for that as well. If you can tell me about a book you read this summer when we start back to school, you'll get another free assignment, but your pages should be recorded here as evidence of reading! (Look for the log on the list of pages to the left.)
